Here are some Top Tips for customers renting our vehicles:
Before hiring a vehicle from us, you will need to let us know why you need to hire a vehicle so we can be sure you are using it in an appropriate way.
It might seem a tedious task, but it's always best practice to read the paperwork before you sign the contract. This will ensure you understand the terms and conditions, including fees, insurance, and refuel/ recharge policy.
Accidents can happen, but being adequately covered provides peace of mind. For a nominal fee, you can significantly reduce your excess with our Collision Damage Waiver cover.
Our like-for-like fuel policy means returning the vehicle with the same fuel/ charge level as it was on pickup. So be sure to top up to the level the vehicle had at collection to avoid unexpected charges
Before setting off on your travels, we recommend familiarising yourself with local rules and guidelines, especially when you travel aboard to ensure a smooth journey. From speed limits to parking regulations, awareness is key.
This is a big one, be sure to bring your Drivers Licence check code and ID so we can process your hire.
As a member of the BVRLA, U-Drive adheres to the highest industry standards, prioritising customer satisfaction and excellent service.
Returning the vehicle should never be a last-minute affair. Allow enough time to complete the return process, and vehicle inspection and ensure all belongings are removed. Rushing will increase the likelihood of oversights and unnecessary stress.
